Hello All! Well I didn't get up early to watch the event but I did check the web for details on the dress. How charming, classy & modest; really showed off her slim figure. One of the photos showed a closeup of the collar & what appeared to be a daffodil. I was quite surprised about the choice of "Carrickmacross" technique & promptly dug out my notes from Pat Earnshaw's book in which it is described as being fragile & impractical. Not an easy lace to make & unforgiving in the stretchy department! What an engineering feat between the designer & RSN to make it work. Might select pics of the work be available thru RSN for closer study of details? Does anyone know? Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Erie, PA
