I was lucky to have Margaret Tite as my teacher, back in the 70s. A wonderful, inspirational teacher. Later she did me the honour of asking me to take over one of her classes, which led to many happy years of teaching for me. Once, I was struggling with an acorn leaf, I had tried it several ways, but unsure which was "correct". When I asked her opinion, she answered "If it looks right, it probably is right." I cannot tell you how much that freed up my lacemaking! A great lady, sadly missed.
