Firstly, - Doris said " I am so pleased to have been a part of it."
Doris, - we are All pleased that you have been, and still are, a "part of
it". We owe you, and those other early lacemakers who wrote books, a Huge
"Thank you", as without you many of us would not be here making lace!
I am sorry you are no longer able to make lace, but I am so please you are a
part of this list, and that we hear from you, as I am sure your knowledge is
still far a head of many of us, and I know you are so generous with sharing
with us.

David - at the very first workshop I ever went to, when I was still not far
off being a beginner, - the main thing I brought home with me was 3 little
words - "Cheat when Necessary"!!! they have stood me in good stead ever
since!! So Yes, if you can't go back as far as where the error happened -
then cut off, - and when you find you are a pair short - just add in a new
pair!!! Only You will know, I am sure!!!

Regards from a rather Radical Liz in Melbourne, Oz.
