Nathalie, Beaumé is situated in the Picardie Dep. Aisne. I don't know if people from there had anything to do with lace. Perhaps our French members knew more. And there lived two French painters with the name Beaumé. Joseph from 1796 till 1885 and Émile from 1888 till 1967. Perhaps this helps you.
