I have noticed over the years of not seeing to many Halloween lace patterns. Of coarse I also know that Halloween is not celebrated all over the world like it is in the states here. I stated thinking more about Halloween paterns and remember seeing a witch pattern in an old Lace Guild ( from the Hollies in the UK) Calender. The year was 1999. She is a Honiton witch that was designed by Jacqui Southworth. I also know there is a witch pattern I think in an old Lace Express Magazine. Not sure which issue right off the tip of my head. But that is all I know off right now. It is making me think I should design something. I have never designed any bobbinlace except for an Christmas ornament with tatting inside. Of coarse these days my time is so limited for I do take are of my very young Grandchildren, the youngest being 6 months old. I love Halloween...and I want to make some Halloween bobbinlace or needlelace. If anybody that can design lace either with a needle or with bobbins send me the design. Maybe I can wing it and make it. That would be so cool.
