Yes, Jeri was very kind to take time from her class to bring 2 of these pieces to show my class. I can tell you it was greatly appreciated! Wonderful, wonderful pieces, and I think what really impressed us all was the provenance Jeri has, and the research she had done into these pieces. To see the lace, - and then compare it with photos of the original painting, and copies of the painting, and then also the cartoon from which the lace was made, was just mind-boggling. I can never thank you enough, Jeri, as it taught me such a lot, and I still marvel at your tracking down so much about the lace and painting, and sharing it with us.
