Be sure to shrink the wool first. Easiest way is put it in the washer on the hottest cycle and run it through once or twice. Then put it in the dryer on the hottest temperature until it's dry. And as Alice said in her reply, wind it as tightly as you can. It always takes me a few tries to get it tight enough. Enjoy!
