I am almost finished with the piece of Binche I started in Annick Staes' class in Ithace Columbus Day weekend. The piece is from Wesenberg's beautiful book on old Binche--my first piece from that book and I look forward to taking on a couple of wider, more complicated ones in the second half of the book. (The one I'm doing now is only 108 bobbins, so I don't have to do too much 'storage' of bobbins: they almost fit all around the pillow while leaving me enough room to work.) I'm very much enjoying it! Nancy Connecticut, where we had the first snow of the winter last night. >________________________________ >From: Jenny Brandis <[email protected]> >To: 'arachne lacing' <[email protected]> >Sent: Thursday, October 27, 2011 9:58 PM >Subject: [lace] WIP > >Well, I wont be able to do much lace making over the next 2 weeks as I am >supervisong TEE (final year) exams so have spent the last week making my >first piece of lace for the Arachne Card Exchange.
