Hello All! Thanks for the economic stimulus rant! Timely & well put, just don't forget the "lace content" next time you post--LOL. Funny thing, this same topic was chewed up at knitting class this morning so I'll print your manifesto for distribution next Friday. Almost everyone will be getting something I created this year. It is the economy, but it's also a return to a more humble, less glitzy season. Most appreciate my investment of time, thought & care in the selection of materials to make one item, exclusively for them, & no hot glue guns were used! Thanks also to everyone who has recently posted links to free patterns for children. There were a number of small motifs that would make great embellishments for a crazy patch block so they're not just for kids! Searching the Popular Crafts site was like looking for a needle in a haystack so I'm glad that several Arachneans were able to locate the page.
