It looks like a fairly small roller to me, so definitely try a small sample of lots of bobbins first. Looks like a nice pattern to work for demo'ing.
BTW, where did you get the little glass angel that you put the lace skirt on? I have not seen those before. I wonder if anyone carries them in the US.
