Dear Friends, Floral Bucks Point
I've eventually begun work again on Jean's Poppies. Have now been at them for a couple of weeks and have just passed the half-way mark. The second side is much more satisfying than the first. I think at first I was a bit over-enthusiastic with the number of bobbins, but now that I'm used to the pattern I can tell at a glance how many pairs are required to fill a space.
Got to get this finished as I have other projects waiting and I didn't like the felling of having this piece sitting there for a couple of months while I worked on other pieces for Christmas. So I'll stick at it now and hope to get it done before March 15th when I fly to Delhi in India and Saigon in Vietnam. That should produce some stories for chat
