A lovely friend sent me a lace book for my birthday which is in french, so I have been busy translating it, some words have been fine, but a few are not so clear, so would someone remind me please of the place many of you added words in various languages, like half stitch, whole stitch, pin or whatever. I might be able to change one or two to improve my understanding, before I try something. there are several lovely stoles in there and although I would never have he need to wear one, I am tempted to convert them down a bit and make a scarf of one of the patterns. Hmmm, my list grows longer quicker than I make my lace, LOL.
