Sorry for not provide more detail.
I wanted to make another Easter Egg from Annelies Kirst's 2nd book.
It's one of the patterns with a butterfly labeled "Duchesse-Ei" on page 18.
I've enlarged it a bit & I want to work it in coloured thread.
She provides a diagram for the pivot turn on the bottom wings, & the 
order of how to work the wings.
But I just don't like the holes at the beginning of the scrolls.
I haven't worked a scroll before, so I'm looking for a better way to 
work them.
I have Edna Sutton's "Bruges Flower Lace" which shows how to start & end 
a simple scroll.
