Thanks to all for the compliments on the scarf. It uses 82 pair of bobbins and I am using a mixture of wooden bobbin holders and crocheted holders for organising them. I prefer the crochet ones that only hold about 10 bobbins rather than one that takes 20 or more. It is easier to remove a smaller number at one time and easier to stack them. I am folding my long ones in half and pushing the bobbins through two holes. Must get round to making more of the shorter ones which are more substantial and easier to stack.
The silk thread is very slubby so I am working with shorter leashes to make tensioning easier. Hope I don't lose interest too soon. Great colors and such good work! How many pairs of bobbins are you using? Where did you find your pattern? Thanks for sharing your work with us! Trish in Sunny (at least earlier!)
