Hello all, The altar cloth made up of all those squares was discussed on a blog I follow. The various squares were made my various people. The cloth is on display at the *Museum of Christianity in Ljubljana.* Here<http://iltombolodietta.blogspot.com/>is the link to the blog I follow - it's in Italian and can be translated using a button on the right hand side of the blog.
I am in the middle of creating an all lace altar cloth for a local temple. The temples of my church have many altars in them (some for prayer and some for weddings and sealings as we call them) and all altar cloths are to be completely lace. 99% are crochet, but I'm tatting one and I've seen a few other tatted cloths. For the curious HERE<http://www.moroni10.com/LDS/Temple_Tour/Manti_Temple_Sealing_Room.jpg> Is a picture of the "sealing" room where my parents were married and you can see the lace altar cloth. the altars are all basically a variation on this theme.
