Hello All! Worchestershire sauce of course!! There are so many little bits &
bobs of brass that I use for CQ (crazy quilting), many of which are vintage &
corroded, that it's helpful to have a handy & inexpensive cleaning solution.
Worchestershire to the rescue! Soak the item(s) in a shallow bowl, rinse &
dry. If it's really gunked up, an additional treatment of baking
soda/Worchestershire paste applied with a toothbrush usually dislodges the
stuck on stuff. I have successfully cleaned lockets, charms, beads, bracelets
etc. with Lea & Perrins, so YES, I'm a satisfied customer! Sincerely, Susan
