Hi Alice, I have been looking at the pattern you mention and I think you can simply join Number 2 of the first pattern with Number 3 of the second one. And this would make the whole half lappet.
As the second pattern seems to be identical at the beginning and at the end, it seems that the direction of this patten makes no difference. Would this help? Best wishes and good luck!
