In response to several observations that the color isn't marked on the
spools of Egyptian Cotton threads, I checked the labels on the spools I
have.
The label on the Bright White simply says"Egyptisch Katoen, 100%
Katoen", while the optic white says, Egyptisch Katoen, Gemerceriseerd,
100% Katoen". So I'm wondering if the mercerising is what makes the
difference in the color?
