Ou t of curiosity (as I live in America and have no tech nical knowledge to add to washing lace), I looked to see what these balls are! Their ingredients are listed as follows:
Ecozone Ecoballs Sodium alpha olefin sulphonate 37%, laureth-9 14.50%, sodium metasilicate 11%, sodium carbonate 11.00%, calcium carbonate 10.00%, aqua 4%, cellulose 4%, epoxy resin 2.50%, polyamide resin 2.50%, sodium citrate 1.50%, iron oxide yellow 1.00%, iron oxide red 1.00%. Still none the wiser as to how safe they are for lace fibres though! I wonder what the epoxy resin does?! Sue ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alex Stillwell" <[email protected]> In my washing machine I use 'Ecozone Ecoballs' from www.healthy-house.co.uk that are fragrance free and claim to be chemical free. I don't know if they can be used for hand washing but would they be harmful to our fibres?
