<From: Sue Harvey I mean the flat ones, I have tried so many times but just cannot make them keep the round shape.
Thanks Sue > I don't think I have ever come across round flat tallies. What type of lace are you doing? Is it a pattern from a book? Maybe you can tell us more about the pattern. I have done crescent tallies as well as the usual square, rolled (both under and over), and leaf tallies and I have also made tallies where you hide extra pairs inside. I would think doing a round one you would have to quickly go from narrow to wide in a few passes. How big is the talley? It would be good to see some round ones posted on Flickr.
