I've been working on edging for a set of placemats. I chose this project for my demos at Heritage Park in Calgary this past summer. I volunteered one day per week. The edgings provided long enough pieces that I didn't have to start a new piece each week. I'm still working on the third one. It is a beds pattern from Pamela Nottingham's book. I've had an issue with the corners. She has the pricking, working diagram and picture of the piece. The number of leaves vary between these - 7 on one, 8 on another and 9 on the third. I've figured it out now but I was quite confused. I haven't had much time to work on it this fall due to other commitments but I look forward to starting something new.
