I actually received the coloured owl from Joepie. With regard to my angel -
I will send you the pattern, but probably after Christmas. I have to clean
it up from the draft that I worked on, but am very busy for the next couple
of weeks.
It was designed from an angel I saw on a piece of Honiton Point pattern (it
wasn't really an angel, but an edging but I could see the top of an angel).
The wings are worked separately and they have a light wire around the edge
so they can be bent away from the body slightly. The wings were made in
Sulky 40 (942 2203) in a variegated pale blue and the angel was made in
Finca No 50 white. It ended up much bigger than originally planned.
Malvary in Ottawa where it is supposed to go above freezing today and where
I'm waiting (again) for the furnace man. I think he is fed up with coming
to fight with my old furnace and has offered to install an almost new (1
year old) furnace for the cost of my last service call.
