Hello All! Many thanks to all who wrote to help & give encouragement for my Honiton adventures. I'm moving forward again, so thanks for getting my leaf unstuck! Last year, I purchased a few of the "very lovely" Lady & Unicorn bobbins & spangled them with cloisonne beads. With the Honiton leaf finished & off the pillow, I was able to try them out at last. Oh my, they are even lovelier to use! Usual disclaimers, no relationship to the maker or seller, just over-the-moon happy customer. Since I didn't purchase the whole set ($$$$), I used them with my beaded Mechlin bobbins (rosewood) & they sure make a pretty pillow. If I can just manage to stitch the Lady & Unicorn miniature on silk gauze, 2013 should be a banner year! Check out www.micro-stitchery.com & click under tapestries. Last but not least, looking over the sweet & very charming Nativity pattern by Jean Horne, I got snagged on DMC Retours 50. It's probably operator error on my part, but I didn't find it l! isted in Threads for Lace unless this is the discontinued "flower thread" that seems to have a different number. Suggestions?
