I have just posted many photos of a Duchesse edging from my collection on laceioli http://laceioli.ning.com/group/identification-history/forum/topics/how-many-l acemakers-can-you-find?xg_source=activity What is interesting about the piece is that I think I can detect 3 or 4 different lacemakers. Not all the repeats are made in exactly the same way, and 2 of them are very sloppy compared to all the others. I have posted photos of the front and back sides, in enough detail that you can see the threads. Take a look and see what you think. How many lacemakers can you detect? Lorelei
