Dear All

Wolds Lacemakers are due to hold their next lace meeting and AGM on Saturday
9th March 2013 at St Johns Church Hall Clough Road Hull East Yorkshire HU6

morning. There will be a talk in the afternoon by Maureen Bromley on
‘Well Suited to the Colony’ which will tell of lacemakers from the Midlands
who were forced to emigrate to France only to find that, a few years later,
they would have to move on. The entrance fee is £4.00 for visitors and
£1.50 for members. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
Please bring a packed lunch with you. However there is a supermarket close
by. Car parking is within the grounds next to the Hall. There will also
be an opportunity of join the Society. We will have a practice pillow
so that non-lacemakers can have a go. If you have a problem, there will
have someone on hand who will do their best to help.

If you have any queries, then please do not hesitate to contact me. If
anyone does come, please make yourselves known to us.

Regards

Maureen Bromley
