Hi Alice DMC Broder Machine 80 hasn't been made for ages and it was very fine thread, so unless the pattern is a fine Flanders or point ground or similar it won't mean Broder Machine 80.
DMC Special Dentelles and DMC Cordonnet are essentially the same thread - Cordonnet comes in big balls and only in white and ecru (and maybe black). Special Dentelles comes in small balls and in lots of colours.
