Hi Everybody: I wonder if the set dresser got knitting confused with Tunisian crochet? That's widely used for nice warm blankets, and if you don't see it worked you'd just see what you think is a knitting needle. But it would be only one needle and the square would only hang off the needle on the first trip through the row; she'd be working it off on the second.
