Years ago I put a picture on my website for some of the tatting shuttles I had collected over the years at that time. One of the shuttle was silver and was made by Frank Newborn. This shuttle had his mark on it and the silver markings for England. Anyhow...I guess Frank didn't make too many of these shuttles and was given only to a few people. So he had sent me an email from my website (my email address is on the home page) asking me how I enquired the shuttle over here in New York, USA from England. I had told him I found it and got it from an antique dealer. He then sent to me a silver bobbin that he made along with the info on the markings of silver in England. I have kept that letter he sent to me by snail mail and the bobbin. His original email he sent to me I can't find...so I am wondering if I lost it years ago my Hal my old computer died around 2002 or there abouts. I spent alot of time seeing if I could hunt it down since some of my old email I did keep back when...but can't find it. I would like to contact him if anybody can help me. He must deal with silver. I also remember seeing im in a old tatting booklet too...I believe in it he mentioned he had also made his daughter a shuttle too. My lace group on hearing me tell my story at our last meeting thought it would make a great show and tell ...but I can't find the email. I would like to be able to contact him.
