Dear Spiders

As well as lace, among my obscure hobbies I do folk dance with the ISTD
dance school. I was browsing the syllabus today and came across a solo -
Greek Lacemaker. This understandably caught my attention, dancing AND
lace?! Nothing could be better.

I don't know much about the history of lace in Greece or the types of lace
traditionally made there. I've found this book
http://www.archive.org/stream/handbookofgreekl00hers#page/n3/mode/2up "A
Handbook of Greek Lacemaking" but if anyone could offer more information or
a direction to look in I would be very grateful

Happy Lacemaking
