Wow. What we have become as a species. In the 1500-1800s men wore lace. The cavets and the cuffs were just as lacy as the women's partlets and collars. It had nothing to do with "masculinity" and "femininity" and more to do with "conspicuous consumerism."
And as for men wearing skirts, I have one word. Kilts. Bronwen, thinking it's interesting how the western culture has changed in it's views of what it means to be masculine or feminine in a few hundred years.
