I've just had an email from Aurelia's son, Jonathan, that Aurelia
passed
away two nights ago after a long illness. I believe she would have been 97
this coming October 31st....>

How sad to learn that we have lost another great lady who has contributed so
much over the years to us lacemakers. I had the great pleasure of having
Aurelia as a student when teaching for the Springetts, when Cynthia Voysey
treated her to a place on my course as a thank you for all the kindness
shown to her by Aurelia.
Please pass my condolences to her family and friends.
