Hi Rapunzel originates from Italy (old folk tale). As you said she braided her hair and so escaped from the tower. Braiding is kind of lace, isn't it? Somewhere have the total works of the Grimm brothers in Germnan. Used bits of it in my German language teaching in the past. Made a change from teaching grammar. Agnes Boddington - Elloughton UK
