The robin that immediately leaps into my mind is the one designed by
Kitty Mason MBE, which is in The Lace Guild's Christmas Decorations
book. It is a Milanese pattern, but could possibly be adapted to Honiton
or Needlelace.
Alternatively, could you find one in a child's colouring book and work
from the outline?
