OK - my LaceNews Pinterest site is not about pins for making lace. It is a social internet site - think of it as a series of bulletin boards where you that you might pin photos too. Except that the board is a folder on the internet site, and the 'pin' is a picture from some website that you post with an explanation in that folder. Click on the pin and it takes you to the original website. I have found most of the various lace organizations, and at the bottom of the page is a number of boards that include lace/book suppliers by country. I'm fairly confident after about a month's searching that I've found most of these websites, but can always use feedback.
Many of the sites also have facebook pages, twitter feeds, flickr pages, etc., so when I find those I include them in the description of the original pin. This all is a permanent, fairly easy to maintain modern take on the traditional 'link' page. I currently have 59 boards and 914 pin, adding more every day.
