Just so you know, Jeri, I did (and generally do) appreciate your book review. Since I do my own work reconstructing the Elizabethan English laces, I don't generally bother looking for new resources - they are very few, compared to the greater body of lace work, and don't usually say anything I haven't already figured out. But now I know I want to look this one up,and to direct my students to when they want written resources.
A long way to say, thank you for your work, Jeri. It *is* very appreciated, even if I don't always say so 'out loud'.
