I forgot to mention that in those long ago days of the 1970s the pattern was accompanied by a "blue print" of the lace. This was actually a cyanotype, a kind of photo reactive paper which had had a piece of the lace laid on it and put in the sun (?) thus producing a sort of photographic image of what the lace should look like. I still have some of these as well. Feeling old... Devon
