I am waiting to see when my partner gets the card I sent to her/him...no telling now right?? Yesterday was Thanksgiving at my house here in America. We pigged right out...especially the men folks. I swear I do not have a clue where they put it all...I didn't even eat pie later on...I was that stuffed. But the food was good and the best part was I was with my family. I have been enjoying making Carrickmacross Lace since I took my second class with Mary Shields from Ireland. I am now working on another project but in between that I was painting bobbins for Thanksgiving Day. They are turkey bobbins for the day. I only have one left. I sold my other ones. the "last" is sitting on ebay right now looking for a new home. So now I am moving my brain toward painting Christmas ones. I do have some ideas...what about all of you...what would you like to see on a bobbin for the Holiday season? It is fun painting but it is even more fun making lace. I also want to start making some more bobbin lace. I got new bobbins ( new to me) that I won at the raffle table during Ithaca,New York Lacing event. I just know they are anxious to start making Buck's point, or Bedfordshire. I am also wanting to start my next Milanese project but I use the square bobbins for that type of lace. So what lace are all of you making out there right now. It would be great to see some pictures too. I know that today was Black Friday...I stayed home. There is nothing I want that I am going to stand in the line forever for. I bet alot of you did were in the middle of the mad rush. LOL. I know I am rambling here...so how about you ramble now...go ahead...I would love to hear from you all.
