I made a travel pillow (the handbag type) using foam board for the skeleton with computer mouse pads on top for the flaps on which the bobbins rest when in use. I included a pin cushion at one end of the roller and a small lidded box for tools at the other end.
I never actually used it, and sold it for a stupidly large amount on ebay.
