As I understand it, there was a photo/picture of the original mat in "In the
Cause of English Lace" by Catherime Channer and Anne Buck. Catherine Channer
died in 1949, so under UK copyright law the original pricking, assuming she
did it,  would be out of copyright in 2019, 70 years after the author's death.
But does anyone know where it is?
