It will be a while before I can afford the new book, unfortunately, but in the meantime if anyone decides to have a go at the overlapping gimp rings in Chapter 14 of the first book, and hasn't got either the Spring 2010 Canadian Lacemaker Gazette or Lace No. 141 (January 2011) to refer to, please contact me for my diagrams as to how to do them, which differ from the two methods that Alex gives in the book. I think my way gives a better solution than the way Alex thought I did them, anyway!
