Seconding Jeri's point about relevant subject descriptions to facilitate using the archives, may I also ask you to all check you are using the correct email address to send your posts to Arachne.
There are two which work, and both will get your contribution to both individual and the digests, but only those posts sent to the correct one get archived. Initially (and for quite a while) I was using the wrong one so none of my early posts are in the archives and all my pearls of wisdom are lost forever. I am not sure where I found the addresses for Arachne originally, probably on google, in which case this wrong address in perpetuity is very similar to The Lace Guild's problem. A google search for that usually brings up our old demon address first, where technically www.laceguild.org is the correct one. But as I understand it, so long as the wrong address is the one that gets all the hits it remains at the top.
