Clay has very kindly posted a picture of a lace edging that I started in a
class with Jane Atkinson at Lace Convention in Bristol in 2005. I had changed
the ground to Rose Ground and after I was turning the 3rd corner I noticed
that I’d done Torchon Ground just after the 2nd corner, so I started
retro-lacing. Of course, I’d taken out many of the pins by then so it took
a while to replace the pins and work backwards.

The pillow had been at my boyfriends apartment and the lace was only worked on
when I was there. Finally it is done and I have my lovely cover cloths and
pin cushion that Jacquie had embroidered with a spider and web are back home.

Malvary in Ottawa where it has been snowing with big fluffy flakes this
morning and the temperature is about –5c, but getting colder in a couple of
days.
