Hello All! Many thanks to all who sent advice on how to use the "convention" tab on the IOLI site. There are some very lovely projects now that I've found the pictures! Thread question--has anyone used Gilt Sylke Twist for lace? It's silk wrapped with metal, with more colors in gold than silver. Pricey but beyond beautiful, it would make a great accent in a special project or something Elizabethan. This thread was used on the Plimouth Jacket but I'm not sure whether that included the lace or just the embroidered sections. Would love to know more!
