Today I was privileged to visit the Imagine...lace at Waddesdon Manor. It is a wonderful exhibition of all types of lace set in the magical surroundings of Waddesdon Manor. All pieces have been inspired by artifacts within the house. As a member of Isis Lacemakers I took part in making an entry inspired by the famous elephant automaton. It was great to see our own Isis Elephant displayed so favorably in the State Bedroom. The house is open until October 26th. Christine Lardner (Oxford UK)
