A few years back (4-5) I did a unit on Lace making for a local 4-H group. It took place over about a 5 month period. I thought it was a success and even had one girl designing a piece along the way. I designed a Torchon bookmark for it as an easy and quick 'finished piece'. If you are interested I can try and locate my materials and give you an outline.
