Thank you, Bev. First, the teachers' displays at the IOLI convention in Sacramento California USA, which will enlarge a little if you click on Photos. Return to click on Timeline choice at top of page and cruise down the right. It looks as if the Hungarian lace makers have won 1st Prize at the OIDFA Congress in Adelaide Australia. There is no national identification with the wine label (theme of contest). Tokaji is a famous Hungarian wine sometimes mentioned in historical novels and motion pictures. Sweet; served with desserts. I like the lettering, and especially the spider webs used as a ground. What do we see in old wine cellars? Spider's webs! And, this is the symbol of our Arachne. Lots of reasons to look at it. Below, you will see some other laces from Malta, Ireland, Slovenia, etc. that were displayed in Adelaide Australia.. https://www.facebook.com/iolilace Jeri Ames in Maine USA Lace and Embroidery Resource Center -------------------------------------------------------- In a message dated 8/5/2014, [email protected] writes: Hello Sherry and everyone
