In case anyone thinks I am either that wealthy or that daft, I would like 
you to know that personalized number plates are much cheaper here in 
America.  I can't recall for sure, but think I paid around around an extra 
$40 or so when we bought my VW Rabbit seven years ago.  And who can resist 
having LTL GREY as their number plate when the make of the car is Rabbit?!
