Messages come without a signature, and expecting us to remember to whom their e-mail address is attached! We have over 1,000 subscribers, some of whom are like me - unable to remember everything we once did. It is all some can do to remember what the acronyms for lace groups mean. If we wish to send a private reply, there is no gracious way to say Dear ? Another matter, There are many more messages being "Sent from my iPad" We do not care what equipment is used. It is possible to suppress this iPad promotion, and a way to set up an automatic signature line for yourself. A sig with your 500 favourite inspirational quotes or a detailed ASCII art depiction of the Titanic is not. So please be discrete.
