A lovely offer from Sue. This is an image taken from Royal Doulton's 1987 figurine HN 3098, named Dorothy - if anyone wants to look her up. The figurine is dressed in a simple 1600's Pilgrim style dress of light gray/blue, with large white 'falling-style' collar. She is making lace on a violet roller pillow held in her lap. There is a black cat diverting her attention. There are people who collect lacemaker figurines. You can also search Royal Doulton Cross Stitch of Dorothy to see the charted photo. It would be lovely to own, and not too time-consuming to make. Wishing you all luck. Just been having a bit of a sort out and found a pattern for a cross stitch lacemaker called " Dorothy" I made this several years ago and it's hanging in my workroom, if you want to see a photo of the chart I have down loaded it to our photo stream. So anyone who wants to join in the raffle just send me your details and I will get DH to draw it on 7th Feb to give the ones who only have the digest a chance to participate.
