Many thanks to Sue Babb's quick help! I've up-load photo of the sample piece of 17th century bobbin lace that I worked on - the lace is in an album under my name (Beth McCasland). I started the lace in a class with our own Jean Leader last summer, and have worked on it off and on. The lace is 4 cm footside to point, 2 cm repeat. Early laces are an interesting puzzle!
